should we start school later? These last few weeks of school have been shortened because of snow days and my only concern is that the districts going to add days to the end of the year. The pros of starting late include getting to sleep in and actually wake up before going to school. I believe that our performance and engagement would increase if we were awake. One con is that the end time would most likely be later. Which cuts into the time we could spend studying at night, making us stay up later and then sleep around the amount of time. Another con of starting later is that student athletes will get home really late into the evening. One of my favorite places to visit during the summer is Van Houtte farms. When you drive down romeo plank road, the first thing you see are flowers. All you have to do is pay for a glass jar. Then they give you clippers and you can start picking! They are open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and in my opinion, it's best to go in the afternoon.
