While AI is intelligent, it lacks the emotional intelligence needed to create art. The blood, sweat and tears that artists put into their work is washed away in a matter of seconds when you press a button on these sites. It lacks originality as it’s programmed to copy and paste styles of other artists at the tip of your finger. On the other hand, AI art can be beneficial for artists who need inspiration but can’t find the right reference photo. Allowing for them to produce a (potentially) amazing reference photo. However, art is subjective, the artist is trying to provoke an emotion from the audience. For example, I entered the word “boredom” into one and the result was a landscape washed over with fog.

Showing the gap between generated vs. man made art. Art produced by humans is influenced by their environment, background, religion, etc. For example, pieces created to address political issues, establishing the artists stance on a matter.
